Cherie Staples - Editor in Chief and SkyEarth Letters
We count on Cherie to be the gatekeeper to worlds and dimensions which keep our eyes focused on the path while our hearts can soar to the heavens. Cherie is one of the most avid readers we've encountered, yet she always makes time for her granddaughter. A tireless editor, whom many regard as the "Keeper of the Open Mind," Cherie paints, is a photographer, and walks her talk as an environmentalist. She nurtures and mentors a vast array of talented writers, in addition to writing herself, and she creates the look and the design of SEEKER (thanks to the wonderful graphics handed down from Denise Ruiz, the originator of SEEKER, and to others who have generously shared their graphics). ....For her diligence, we thank and bless her.
Novareinna - Tongues: Folk Tales
Gypsy; Plumed Bard and a true lady.
Nova is the only southern lass we've ever known with a Brit accent. She's kept the Tongues column active almost singlehandedly since 1995 with her marvelous interpretations of tales from around the world. She is often found online at AOL on Tuesday evenings in The Forest chatroom, spinning tales around the fire with her bard brethren, accompanied by her magical steed, Fallista. She is a fiery spirit wrapped in gossamer enchantment, and we're proud to call her one of our own!
Susan Kramer - Columnist
Keeper of the Flame; Sharer of Insight and A Wonderful Serendipity.
Generous and always ahead of time (unlike the rest of us!), Susan reminds of our own power to change, of the need for joy in our lives, and better yet, actually shows us some of the important connections in the world we live in. Last, but definitely not least, she does her own HTML! For this, she is worshipped by the editor.
Harry Buschman - Stories From Westlake Village
Spinner of Tales, Keen Observer of Human Nature, and a True Gentleman
Harry Buschman was born over eighty years ago in a slum neighborhood of downtown Brooklyn. The first rule for survival in such an environment is to get out. He joined the regular army in 1939 and spent the war at sea. He practiced architecture and photography for nearly forty years in New York and New England. He is a widower with two grown daughters, both with PHD's in medical research. To salute his friends and acquaintances and to honor their memory he has brought them all together in Westlake Village (see Harry's list of stories in the Contributors Index).
Avant Soul - Rhapsodies in Words
Musical Muse, Mage of Photography, Soul Spyer
Ever ready to awaken our fascination with the original SOUL, Avant Soul is an artist who finds it difficult to rest, yet seeks spiritual expression in every aspect of beauty. For this very reason, Avant Soul depicts the following self portrait: A midnight sun, with a seeker's footprints leading ever onward to a timeless presence, before being washed by waves at the end of time.
IN HONOR OF THE ONES WHO BROUGHT "SEEKER" FORTH IN 1995, WE INCLUDE OUR INNOVATIVE AND COURAGEOUS PAST STAFF, WHO DECIDED THAT THIS INTERNET THING WAS THE WAY TO GO WHEN IT COMES TO SHARING IDEAS AND JOURNEYS.
Denise Ruiz - Editor Emeriti and Transmutations Columnist
Changing Always; Arts Dabbler; Seeker of the Way
Denise has that special something not found in too many people nowadays. She has an inquisitive nature and the braves to ask "Why?" Her insights in the way the world should work, in comparison to how it does work, makes people wonder about alot of things. She loves stories and music and can often be found writing tales and songs, or but most often is playing THE GAME!
David Langer - Security and Blind Crow Columnist
Resident Mountain Man; Shaman; Traveler.
David can swing a sword, twirl a staff or shoot a shuriken with inordinate grace, though we do alot of dodging when he's practicing. He tends to concentrate a bit too much on the inner world for us to feel completely safe. He studies totems, runes, Buddhism and other assorted majik arts. He can also whip up a skunk cabbage cassarole or pine tea with the best of them. We keep him out back, where his mantras and nocturnal food gathering won't disturb the neighbors. He is the most dedicated seeker of us all and we rely on him to keep us in touch with the untouchable.
Brandon DeGeorge - Music Man and Jack's Beanstalk
Resident Musician; Composer; Philosopher; Energizing Elf.
Brandon sees the world through the keen eye of his camera and immediately sets about rearranging it. He plays guitar wonderfully, but he can't play an entire song all the way through; not because he doesn't know it, simply because the next song constantly interrupts him. He worships Chaos, sporadically of course, and keeps the rest of us from relaxing on our fannies (or anywhere else, for that matter) for very long. Without him, we would have no one to pick on. His good humour, endless energy and thick skin keep us going..and going..and going..
Michael Marzilli - Technical and Layout
Resident Computer Wiz; Dreamer; Live Roleplayer; Group Counciler.
Mike makes up web pages faster than a speeding bullet and is able to code entire worlds in a single bound. He is a member of NERO (New England Roleplaying Organization) and is often spotted in local Subways in the guise of a large humanoid white tiger thingie named Rowell. He is probably the sanest member of the original staff, which should give you a clue about what kind of a group you're dealing with. But he truly does help to keep us from falling off our speeding trolleys and we love him for it.
