Response to Thoughts on a Random Thought For January

You know, this should be a really simple thing we're talking about here...ever stop to think about the people that are serving you? Yes? No? The golden rule applies everywhere. So, whatever happened to the golden rule? I say it's up on a high shelf somewhere in everyone's living room. You know the place, with the family pictures that haven't been dusted in years...

As we get closer and closer to the dawn of a new millenium, I see us not as well-equipped as we could be to handle a new birth. I see us more and more confused and afraid about our identity. Who are we? Where are we going? The old questions arise once again...maybe to be answered...but it seems most likely not. We hide behind the ritual of placing the blame, and seldom come out of our tortoise shells to take responsibility and take action to solve problems. We become like the panic-stricken society of early Salem, Massachusetts, and though we'd never call them what they are, they still are Witch Hunts.

So what to do? My thought is this...take down that family album full of love and the golden rule, and dust it off. Find your faith again, or if you think you never had any, go find it for the first time. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. Got Spirituality?
