The Universe Shall Be Your Altar

You say you're coming apart
Is it possible that you are blooming?

Bloom almost nonchalantly
As the vibrant flower
	you have become

Bloom to the light of love,
	to reaching
	to stretching
to the paradoxical lightness of becoming
	to the very heavens,

An unstoppable sunflower, radiant and wise.

Coming apart .... You say you're unraveling —
Is it possible that you are opening?

Open almost nonchalantly,
	unwrapping from moldy should's,
	unfolding from wobbly maybe's,
	untying from "no's" and "not's,"

Open the Gorgon's knots of your tight-fisted programming
Clogged like a bad drain in the temple of your all-seeing eye.

It's time
to trim splitsville ends of your material immaterial.
to comb out frazzled locks of unbecoming,
to free up frustrated and frenzied graspings
Of a bad whereabouts day.

You used to be courted by unseeing fools.
What flattery is this to be worshipped by a lie?

Writhing .... you say you've been caught fudging
Is it possible that you're in shock
	from being imprisoned
	with your own understanding?

There have been worse fates
than knowledge which seeks your embrace,
than an effortless blossoming of your soul
	to electric,
	etheric
	winds.

This may come as a shock to you,
But no longer do you need to struggle,
To open out, to allow petals to unfurl
	like proud sails
	in time's plenitude —

Without hoarding, take from this earth
The nutrients you need, and then —

Bringing forth your heart, and being like a flower
Growing within this enchanted garden —

    Know

that amidst its ruin and rubble,
	in spite of its entanglement,
	irregardless of humanity's weeds,
You are, and shall ever be ~ resplendent ~

Fully involved, connected, compassionate,
Rising above this turmoil'd wrath,
When rose petals cascade not to the bridal path,
	but to the very heavens
Then the universe shall be your altar,
And you, beloved — become betrothed
	to the unspeakable beauty
	of life.
