Derived through Paint Shop filtering processes on the copy & scan of original file, "Atomic Chalice," (pencil, ink, & magic marker, 1986+)

Artist's philosophical Interpretation: The vortex produced by the interplay of the primary complementary architypal forces, Alpha and Omega or Father and Mother God, at the atomic level in every cell of every living being. Hence, every cell in the human body, as well as each of the energy centers, is a chalice for the flow of divine forces. The Chalice represents the form that hosts the divine creation of these most Yin and Yang forces in the cauldron of the Toa. The triangles represent the mergence of the two forces. The dimensions are born out of the sacred pi ratio, the YinYang curve is explained above, the heart curves, also in a balanced yin-yang interaction represent the element of compassion for all life in all situations. The mythical story of Camelot -- to the degree it was a myth -- represents each persons process in bringing these forces into balance within him/herself. At that point, we create what is popularly known as the Star of David -- and the polarity between the two primeval forces ceases, the charge dispels, the full realization of Self as God/Goddess is complete. Meanwhile, we are caught in the forces and the struggle, the paradox of divinity in humanity, of male and female so different and apart yet bound together inseparably, and all the emotional delemnas that creates for building the all consuming fire of transmutation.
