Breaking Bread with Angels

It's true, I don't have a kosher kitchen. I've already purified my plates and cooking utensils with humility, with the scrubbing powder of utter awe.

With all the words we can use to praise God, we can never describe Him enough.

With all the languages we can sing God's name in, we can never completely give melody to His name. With all the vocabularies which we have to describe God, we can never fully capture His entire essence. A child who has a very limited vocabulary can be closer to understanding God than the scholar with ten-thousand descriptive words & phrases at his or her disposal. A person who's brain-injured, who can't speak at all, can have a better grasp of God's loving being through feeling, than all the learned scholars and great argumentative spiritual leaders of our entire globe.

Bring to me a person in awe to help awaken me to God.

With all the bodies which receive God's Spirit, we can never fully grasp all the bodies of knowledge of God. The truth of God's wisdom is willing to be received according to the digestive requirements of each individual. It is only the arrogance of man who could say, "Eat of my recipe book and cook God just this way or you're not going to be nourished by the Holy Spirit. My high priest is the Julia Child of Wisdom and all other high priests or priestesses are amateur Assistance League Chili Recipe castoffs!"

Bring to me a person in amazement at God's splendor to help teach me the delicious ways to praise the milk and honey of His name. Leave your righteous leaders seeking to impart dietary restrictions of the infinite at your thundering churches, your angry mosques, your zealous synagogues, or at Denny's.

In the restaurant of my heart, I sip the nectar of God daily, and His goodness is non-fattening and nourishing to the depths of my being. My soul doesn't require much except loving-kindness. I am learning to be more loving to others. Please refrain from inviting your high deacon or minister into my kitchen and telling me that I have inadequate pots & pans.

Each body receives Spirit according to its digestive and dietary needs. Each person has individual requirements for nourishment, and to sustain the life-force for wisdom to be contained, MOMENTARILY, within our body -- our body, our home on Earth:

I am know body. I am know one. I am know one to tell you how to know God or how to eat, and in my experience, I simply observe that the people who are really fat and are out of shape are sometimes the most hungry of all. God feeds us and when we leave these bodies we are weighed on a scale of kindness and big-heartedness, and the amount of light that, just possibly, has been in our earthly kitchens.

The angels of judgment see how we've been fed and HOW WE HAVE NOURISHED OTHERS, how kindly we've offered that which we were (or ARE) able to share, from our many possessions.

There, in a video playback of DAYS OF OUR KITCHENS, we will break bread with the angels, to observe our little life on Earth, where, for 10 thousand -- 10 million -- or 10 zillion god-meals, we've been eating of His Eternal graciousness with infinite awareness -- or with hardly any awareness at all.

It is God's magnificence that, within the possessions of consciousness, the Infinite is the most gracious & unhesitatingly giving of any of us.

We are human beings, first and foremost, to learn how to give.
