I invite you to consider two events centered on labyrinths which are happening in the Denver area this fall.
The first is a special labyrinth-building effort being undertaken by the Columbine Unitarian-Universalist Church in Littleton, Colorado, with the support of The Labyrinth Society and the cooperation of other local and national organizations. The church has launched a fundraising effort to construct the Columbine Peace Labyrinth, a customized paving-stone replica of the Chartres Labyrinth. It will be situated in a meditative garden setting and will be wheelchair accessible.
Columbine Unitarian Universalist Church is located just south of Columbine High School and is dedicating a portion of their future expansion site for this project, which will cost approximately $100,000. A broad appeal is being issued for financial assistance from groups and individuals all over the nation and the world, and a fund has been established for contributions which are currently being accepted. Tax deductible contributions may be sent to:
Columbine U.U. Church Labyrinth Fund
6724 South Webster St.
Littleton, CO 80128.
