If I could kiss this moment and send it blossoming like a rose To grow in the garden of your heart, Would you water it? Please don't let this moment die. We've lived in separate clouds and this is your ladder To step down And kiss the sacred earth, which holds Your feet without a complete complaint. Each day – I don't want to walk in your shoes, I just want you To embrace your soul, and remember The naked light that shines every moment of birth You breathe alive. Please don't let it die. Laugh at predictable mornings. Laugh at predictable dawns. Laugh at the same predictable moonlight. Laugh at the lost hours gone. Laugh at the raw embarrassment of blood Coursing thru your veins Laugh at electric speed of thought On infinity's tracks. You've caught this train before. Please dear God let's now arrive At a stop watered with one unsullied moment of joy. Why are you here? There's work to be done. Don't you know some part of you is waiting To die & Until you kiss this moment and face Your most tremulous fearful truth You may only continue your frenzy Of inertia, than face your death and become truly alive. It's time to die, thank God. We're blessed to have you, Come join our party....(And be truly still)... Give this single breath to all the gods ...(And toss all your flowers to the stream)... Kiss the blossom of this Goddess And send Her to rapture ...(Like a pale, pale rose / to grow in your fearless heart)... You will become totally alive.
