Each Day (How Lucky You Are)

Each day is tinged with a little sadness
Like a watercolor which washes over the sky

Change the color of the sky
Think how lucky you are

You get to see yourself each day
In your fright wig

When in actuality it is an angel disguised
as a hobo, a healer disguised
as a businessperson, a being in peace

disguised as a being in frustration
     A victim in life
     who is becoming a magician

A regretful person who is becoming

Radiant, the sun blazes forth without undue thinking
Glorious, water streams from a waterfall without hesitation

The singing of birds is not criticized by their mothers
Who join in song to the glory of this day
