Hiroshima
Einstein weeps
As a cloud of hate
Devours generations
Yet to come.
Fusion
What beats at
The heart of
A star?
Static
Fuses with
The oscillating
Beat of
A phoenix
Coming
Together in
A spiral of
Twisted flames
Nothing
Is more
Wondrous
Than this
Mushrooms
We didn't see them coming.
Like an invisible plague
They swept across the land
Infecting every corner with
Their concrete tentacles
We didn't see them coming.
They burst the ground
With a million muscles
Infecting every corner with
Their concrete tentacles
We didn't see that coming.
Birth
They pried her open,
Like divers looking
For a pearl,
But instead found me:-
A picture of innocence
Curled up
Inside an oyster's shell.
